Tilbrook Forest - UK201631500402 - HBN No: M088157 - DOB: 01/12/2014

Sire: Kilbride Farm Andrew - UK906234426706             Dam: Tilbrook Wanda - UK201631600193

Forest was brought before he was even born, we purchased his mother Tilbrook Wanda as an in calf cow to start our pedigree Simmental herd off back in October 2014. It was decided that as she was heavy in calf then it would be best to leave her with Peter and the Tilbrook herd until she had calved, hence why he has a Tilbrook prefix instead of a Redoak one.
He is a real pleasure to have around, becoming the proper little bull as he has grown up. He has a very sweet nature and has become increasingly quite as he has got older, now becoming a proper Red Oak animal and loving cuddles. He has not been force fed, only having a winter TMR ration of grass and maize silage with a little biscuit meal and minerals and then grazing every summer.
We have used him on the commercial herd with some outstanding results. He ran with 21 young cows / heifers in  early summer 2016, these then all calved and produced 23 calves (2 sets of twins). He then ran with 5 young cows in February 2017 and all of these are due to calve soon. We then ran him with another 31 young cows / heifers in early summer 2017 and have just scanned them to find he has got 30 in calf, the one cow not in calf has a massive cyst on her ovary so she could not get in calf anyway.
He is fully registered with the Simmental society and we are members of Biobest Hi Health being BVD accredited free, Johnes level 2, we are also in the process of becoming Lepto and IBR free. He has just been TB tested free and is ready to go to a good home.
He can be viewed at anytime as can his calves that have been born to date and can be semen tested if required.

Redoak Herbie - UK292233200002 - HBN No: M090769 - DOB: 21/01/2016

Sire: Tilbrook Brigadier - UK201631100237             Dam: Tilbrook Wanda - UK201631600193

Redoak Herbie is again out of our first pedigree cow Wanda; he is sired by Tilbrook Brigadier, a bull brought back in 2012 to run with the commercial herd and is the first pedigree animal sired by him.

He is a real pleasure to have around, becoming the proper little bull as he has grown up. He has a very sweet nature and is fully halter trained.  He has not been force fed, he has been running with two pedigree Red Angus bulls being fed a TMR ration of grass and maize silage with a little biscuit meal and minerals, and a small amount of a special Heygates pedigree over the winter and then grazing during the summer.

If he turns out to be anything like his father then he will make a cracking bull for someone as Brigadier never missed a beat. Herbie also has commercial bull half brother sired by Brigadier (Rock Star), he has not failed to get an animal in calf as yet and he also has the same mother (Wanda) as Forest.

Although not officially been run with any cows as yet he did spend about five minutes with Barb Wire Neck when she was in season and true to form and his family history he has managed to get her in calf.

He is fully registered with the Simmental society and we are members of Biobest Hi Health being BVD accredited free, Johnes level 2, we are also in the process of becoming Lepto and IBR free. He has just been TB tested free and is ready to go to a good home.

He can be viewed at anytime and can be semen tested if required.
