Open Farm Sunday 2016

They came, They saw and they left!

We had around 420 visitors to the farm this year, people enjoyed looking at the machinery, learning all about our breeding program and the technology we use to help us. They watched live artificial insemination demos and have taken the info on 'their calf' with them to follow on this site. They fed and fussed the cattle with the feeding of Maedee being a real crowd pleaser. The picnic area was well used with the cattle in the fields enjoying the extra attention and the weather was perfect for the other catering on site. People shopped, played, learned and ate; everyone had a ball including all of us at Red Oak Farm and we raised £285.88 for WWTW.
